This is a petition filed under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking interim measure / protection. By the order dated 07.02.2017, this Court had directed the respondent to maintain status quo as to the title and possession of the property. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has invoked the arbitration clause and is awaiting the arbitrator's acceptance of his appointment.

In the circumstances, it is directed that the order passed on 07.02.2017 shall continue till the conclusion of the arbitral proceedings, however, the respondent would be at liberty to apply to the arbitral tribunal for modification / vacation of the order. Needless to mention that if such

application is made, the same would be considered uninfluenced by any observations or order passed by this Court.

The petition along with pending application is disposed off. 5.
