The present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the Petitioner in the nature of Habeas Corpus for a direction to the Respondent/State to trace out the minor child of the Petitioner, who according to the Petitioner is in illegal custody of his wife i.e., Respondent No.2 herein.

When this Court made a suggestion to the learned Counsel for the Petitioner that the recourse for the Petitioner would be to file an appropriate petition before the competent Court for guardianship of the child and that the Trial Court would be the appropriate forum to get a detailed inquiry done The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. regarding the welfare of the child, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner graciously accepts the suggestion and seeks permission to withdraw the present petition.
