The present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the Petitioner in the nature of Habeas Corpus for a direction to the Respondent/State to trace out the legally wedded wife of the Petitioner and produce her before this Court, who according to the Petitioner is in illegal detention of her parents i.e., Respondent Nos.3 and 4 herein. 2.

The wife of the Petitioner is present in Court today. A status report has been handed over by the learned Counsel for the State in Court. The relevant portion of the status report reads as under: "During enquiry of the complaint filed by the petitioner herein before the Police Station Fatehpur Beri, the complainant was examined by the EO in The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. which he clearly stated that she is not wrongfully confined by anyone (Annexure 'A'). Further Komal was also examined in which she showed her consent to live with her parents and not with the petitioner. She further stated that she is not wrongfully confined by her parents also not pressurized by them and wants to live with her parents in future (Annexure 'B')." 3.

The status report indicates that the statement of the wife of the Petitioner has also been recorded wherein she categorically stated that she has not been illegally confined by her parents and that she is living with her parents on her own will.

This Court has also interacted with the wife of the Petitioner and she has categorically stated that she does not want to go back to the Petitioner. 5.

Since the wife of the Petitioner has been produced in Court today, the purpose of filing the present petition stands achieved. 6.

With these observations, the petition is dispose of, along with pending application(s), if any.
