This is a petition filed under Section 29A(4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 12 months.

It is stated that, due to various amendments to the claim and counterclaims, the delay occurred. 3.
For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Sharma, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.
For the reasons noted above, I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. The petition is allowed, and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 12 months from today.

The period from 17.07.2024 till today stands regularised. 7.
The petition is disposed of.
