This petition has been filed, under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal, which is in seisin of disputes between the parties under two Memorandums of Understanding dated 02.03.2006 and 05.05.2008. 2.
The mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal was extended from time to time, lastly by order dated 13.09.2023 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 249/2023 until 19.05.2024. 3.
Mr. N.K. Kautawala, learned counsel for the respondent, states that the respondent has no objection to the relief sought. 4.
With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 557/2024 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
