% 19.02.2018 Respondent no.2-Ms. Sanju @ Deepti is present in Court and has been identified by SI Devender of police station Dabri. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no.1 vide Settlement Deed dated 6th March, 2017 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that her marriage with petitioner no.1 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent passed by the Family Court, South West District, Dwarka on 26th October, 2017. Petitioner no.1 has paid `2.50 lacs to the respondent no.2 today in Court vide demand draft, photocopy whereof has been placed on record. Respondent no.2 submits that entire settled amount of `7.50 lacs stands paid with this payment. She has no objection in case the FIR is quashed against
the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 7. Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 804/2016 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Dabri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
