% 17.04.2018 Learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 2 submits that there is no settlement between the petitioner and complainant-respondent no. 2 and incorrect statement was made before the trial court on 14.02.2017 that parties have settled and respondent no. 2 has received a compensation of Rs. 1,50,000/- and the other victim - Pradeep has received a sum of Rs. 50,000/- from the petitioner-accused.

The statement is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition.
