By way of the present petition, the petitioner seeks following prayers:- "a) issue writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents no 1 & 2 to provide protection to the petitioner and also b) issuing writ 1n the nature of mandamus directing respondents no 1 & 2 to take action upon the complaint of the petitioner who is a senior citizen and is under threat from respondents no 3 & 4."

It is the case of the petitioner that respondent Nos.3 and 4, being daughter-in-law and her brother, who are residing in the same house, are giving constant threats of evicting her from her own house. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has taken recourse to civil proceedings and also gave a complaint on 29.07.2024 to the DCP, Distt. South West, Delhi and the SHO, P.S. R K Puram, Sector-12, New Delhi.

Learned Standing Counsel for State accepts the notice and submits that on receipt of the aforesaid complaint, Division Officer namely, ASI Rajesh Kumar had visited the complainant, however, respondent Nos.3 and 4 could not be found at the spot. It is stated that mobile numbers of beat officer, division officer as well as the concerned SHO would be provided to the petitioner. Further, the beat officer would also regularly visit the complainant.

In view of the above, the petition is disposed of alongwith the pending application.
