This writ petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:- "A. Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus quashing the communications dated 28.06.2025 (Annexure-A) and consequently direct the Respondent University of Delhi to forthwith grant the benefit of 50% fee relaxation to the Petitioner under Clause 3.4 of the Information Bulletin of the Faculty of Technology for the academic year 2025-26, to which the Petitioner is legitimately entitled based on his family income falling within the prescribed bracket of ₹4-8 lakhs per annum. B. Issue any other appropriate Writs/Directions/Orders to the Respondent University of Delhi to adjust/appropriate the fee (Rs.

1,00,000) already paid by the Petitioner in the category of 50% relaxed annual fee for the academic year 2025-26 for the B.Tech. (Electronics and Communication Engineering) Course at faculty of Technology, University of Delhi. C. Pass any other or further order as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and just, in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice." Since the current academic session has almost ended, learned counsel for the Petitioner, on instructions, does not press this petition. 3.

Ms. Manisha Singh, learned counsel for the Respondent submits that as per the Bulletin of Information published by the Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi, waiver of fee and/or grant of concession in fee is considered on a yearly basis and therefore, there is no impediment in the way of the Petitioner in seeking waiver in the next academic session. 4.

This writ petition is accordingly disposed of as withdrawn making it clear that filing of this writ petition and/or its withdrawal will not come in the way of the Petitioner in applying for waiver/concession in the fee for the next academic session.
