% 26.04.2017 The present petition has been filed by the petitioner who is the wife of the deceased employee with the following prayers: "In the circumstances, it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to: - (i) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ to direct the respondent to release the pension or retirement benefits accruable the petitioner along with an interest @18% p.a.;

(ii) Direct the respondent to pay damages for mental agony, harassment, torture or humiliation to the tune of Rs.2,00,000/- to the petitioner;

(iii) Award cost of the petition in favour of the petitioner. (iv) Pass such further or other orders which may be deemed just and proper in the circumstances of the case" After some submissions, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the petition, to approach the respondents with a representation.

Noting the aforesaid submission, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
