Petitioner, who stood as a surety for three borrowers, has approached the Appellate Authority to stall the attachment of his salary. Such appeals are informed to be pending.

Counsel for petitioner, on instructions, states that to show his bona fide, petitioner will deposit an amount of Rs.50,000/- in each of the appeals, subject to which the Appellate Authority may consider the prayer for entertaining the appeals and for grant of interim relief. 3.
Submissions made appear to be reasonable. As such, the petitioner is permitted to approach the Appellate Authority with a prayer for deposit of the amounts as stated hereinabove.

In case, such deposits are made within a period of 2 weeks from today, the Appellate Authority shall proceed to decide the appeals in accordance with law, expeditiously and, in any case, within a period of 3 months from the date of such deposits being made by petitioner. Upon such deposits being made, it is made clear that no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner with respect to the salary to which he is otherwise entitled, until the appeals are decided.

All three petitions accordingly stand disposed of. 6.
Pending applications are disposed of as infructuous. 7.
