The present proceedings are instituted under Section 482 Cr.P.C. on behalf of the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No. 282/2018 registered under Sections 3/4 of the Medicare Service Persons and Medicare Service Institution (Prevention of Violence & Damage of Property) Act, 2008 and Section 325 IPC at P.S. South Rohini, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes.

As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, on 06.11.2018, the complainant was assaulted by the petitioners 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the parties have amicably settled their disputes vide Settlement Deed dated 01.11.2023, a copy of which has been placed on record as Annexure P-2. In terms of the said settlement, respondent Nos. 2 and 3 are now left with no claim or grievance against the petitioners.

It is informed that a cross FIR No. 283/2018 registered under Sections 323/341/354/506/34 IPC at Police Station South Rohini in respect of the same incident has also been quashed by today's order passed in CRL.M.C. 168/2024.

The petitioners, who are present in Court in person, are identified by their counsel as well as the by the I.O./SI Aashish Malik, P.S. South Rohini. Respondent Nos. 2 and 3, who have joined the proceedings through V.C., are also identified by the I.O.

The petitioners have shown remorse for their conduct and they undertake not to repeat the same in future. Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 also states that they have entered into the aforementioned settlement agreement out of their own free will, volition and without any coercion. They further state that they have no objection if the present FIR and the consequent proceedings are quashed.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that no other proceedings are pending between the parties.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and since no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
