It is stated in the present application filed by the petitioner that before the Supreme Court, the Board has informed the department that the charges against the petitioner as contained in the memorandum dated 17.06.2019 has been dropped and the disciplinary proceedings against him stands closed. 2.

In view of the above, the present application stands dismissed as infructuous.

In view of the order dated 05.08.2024 passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal no. 6161/2022, the respondent is directed to release the consequential benefits in terms of order dated 05.08.2024 within four weeks from today.
