Learned Counsel for the Appellant submits that the matter has been settled between the parties and the entire claim of the Respondent, stands settled at an amount of Rs. 8 lacs. He submits that the settlement amount of Rs. 8 lacs shall be paid by the Appellant to the Respondent in two instalments.

Learned Counsel for the Respondent affirms the above-mentioned and submits that the settlement agreement has been executed between the Appellant and the Respondent before the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre on 02.08.2024. He further submits that in terms of the settlement amount of Rs.8,00,000/- has been made by two cheques which have been given by the Appellant to the Respondent. 2.1 Learned Counsel for the Respondent further confirms that he has received the two original Cheques, being Cheque bearing No.223453 dated 31.07.2024 of the value of Rs.6,00,000/- and post-dated Cheque bearing No.223454 dated 01.12.2024 of the value of Rs.2,00,000/-; in the name of Mr. Rajender Prasad Aggarwal both drawn on Union Bank of India, Dwarka, Delhi.

The Appellant is present in person undertakes that the cheques shall be honoured upon presentation. The statement of the Appellant is taken on record.

The parties are directed to abide by the terms of the Settlement Agreement.

The Appeal and all pending Applications are accordingly disposed off in terms of the aforesaid settlement.
