By this petition the petitioner Bikramjeet Singh Sokhi seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 216/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at PS CAW Cell, Hari Nagar, Delhi on the complaint of Ms. Manvinder Kaur.

Petitioner is the ex-husband of Ms. Manvinde Kaur. During the pendency of the present petition and other connected petitions between the parties, parties have arrived at a settlement. BAIL APPLN. 376/2016

Learned counsels for the petitioner and the complainant state that pursuant to the settlement divorce by mutual consent has been granted between petitioner and Ms. Manvinder Kaur.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court deems it fit to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. It is, therefore directed that in the event of arrest the petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of.Rs.10,000/- with one surety of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/SHO concerned, further subject to the condition that he will join the investigation as and when directed by the Investigating Officer.
