This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the Petitioner seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus to Respondents No.1 and 2 to remove the name of the Petitioner from the Black List of PS: Hazrat Nizamuddin. Although worded incorrectly, the relief sought is to remove the name of the Petitioner from the List of Bad Characters of PS: Hazrat Nizamuddin.

Status Report has been filed giving details of the previous involvements of the Petitioner and the present status of the cases at PS: Hazrat Nizamuddin and the SCRB.

Counsel for the Petitioner states that in view of the Status Report, there is no live case pending against the Petitioner and from the year 2001, no FIR has been registered against the Petitioner. 4.

that as per record, there is no active case against the Petitioner and no fresh FIR has been registered since the year 2001 and there is no impediment in removing his name from the List of Bad Characters of PS: Hazrat Nizamuddin.

For the reasons stated in the Status Report, the petition is allowed issuing directions to Respondents No.1 and 2 to remove the name of the Petitioner from the List of Bad Characters of PS: Hazrat Nizamuddin. 6.
Petition is allowed and disposed of.
