% 23.08.2024 CRL.M.A. 25303/2024 By way of the present application filed under section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita 2023, the petitioner seeks correction of his name as reflected in order dated 02.08.2024, whereby the criminal proceedings initiated against the petitioner vide FIR No. 114/2024 dated 03.05.2024 registered under sections 354A/354D/506/509 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at P.S.: Vasant Kunj North, Delhi, have been quashed. Mr. Palash S. Singhai, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits, that due to an error that has occurred in the course of e-filing of the petition, the name of the petitioner came to be reflected as Riyadarsi Mukherji instead of Priyadarsi Mukherji, by reason whereof order dated 02.08.2024 also reflects the wrong name.

Mr. Singhai submits however, that the correct name of the petitioner is reflected in the physical copy of the petition that has been filed. In view of the prayer made, it is not considered necessary to issue notice to the respondents or to call for a reply from them. In view of the above, the application is allowed, thereby clarifying that the petitioner's name appearing in the cause title in order dated 02.08.2024 shall be read as Priyadarsi Mukherji instead of Riyadarsi Mukherji.

Order dated 02.08.2024 be read as corrected above. The Registry is directed to issue a copy of this order alongwith any certified copy of order dated 02.08.2024.

The application is accordingly disposed-of.
