The appellant has filed the present appeal for enhancement of the Award dated 20.02.2021 passed by the MACT awarding compensation of Rs.17,26,336/- along with interest @ 7.5% from the date of filing. 2.

The parties have agreed that the appellant shall get enhanced amount of Rs.6,00,000/- as lump sum compensation over and above the Award of the Tribunal as full and final settlement. The Insurance company is granted 06 weeks time to deposit the said amount before the Registrar General of this Court failing which it shall carry interest @ 9% p.a. on the delayed deposit.

Learned counsel for the appellants submits that the said amount be released to the appellants. We have considered the request of the learned counsel for the appellants.

Let the amount of Rs.3,00,000/- be released to the appellant/Smt. Manju Devi subject to fulfilment of requisite formalities. 5.

Let the balance amount of Rs.3,00,000/- be put in the fixed deposit of any nationalised bank and be released to the minor children in equal proportion on attaining the age of majority.
