This is a petition filed under Section 29 A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 12 months for making and publishing the award. 2.

It is stated that the parties have already addressed final arguments and the matter is listed for pronouncement of the award. 3.

Mr. Ahuja, learned counsel appears for the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed.

I am satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown for the extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

For the said reasons, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 6 months for making and publishing the award. 6.

The period from 28.02.2024 till today stands regularized. 7.
