The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No.74/2022 registered under Section 420 IPC at Police Station Cyber Police South, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes. 2.
The present FIR has been lodged at the instance of the complainant/respondent No. 2 alleging that the petitioners cheated the complainant/respondent No. 2.

Learned APP for the State, on instructions, submits that the petitioners are the only accused persons and respondent No. 2 is the only complainant/victim.

Learned counsels for the parties submit that the parties have entered into a settlement vide Memorandum of Settlement/Compromise dated 09.10.2023. Learned counsel for petitioners submit that the entire settlement amount has already been paid. In terms of the settlement, respondent No. 2 is now left with no claim whatsoever against the present petitioners. 5.
Petitioners who are present in the Court and respondent No. 2, who has joined the V.C. proceedings have been identified by their respective counsels as well as the Investigating Officer/ SI Amit PS Cyber Police South, Delhi.

Respondent No.2 states that she has received the entire settlement amount and further states that she has entered into the aforesaid settlement out of her own free will, volition and without any coercion. She further states that she has no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that no other proceedings are pending between the parties.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and since no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR is hereby quashed.

With the above directions, the petition is disposed of alongwith pending application.
