% 23.02.2018 Respondent no. 2 Ms. Vridhi Chauhan is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Amit Kumar of police station Amar Colony. Respondent no.2 says that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no.1 before the Counselling Cell, Saket Courts, Delhi on 25th September, 2017 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that her marriage with petitioner no. 1 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce dated 15th January, 2018 passed by the Family Court, South East, Delhi. Petitioner no.1 has paid `4,00,000/- by way of two demand drafts, photocopies whereof are on record.

Respondent no. 2 submits that with this payment, entire settled amount of `12,00,000/- stands received and she has no objection in case the FIR is quashed against the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner

nos. 2 to 4.

Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 292/2016 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Amar Colony and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.

Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
