The instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been filed on behalf of petitioners seeking following prayer: "A. Issue a writ(s), order(s) or direction(s) in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ to quash/set aside the show cause notice dated 20.06.2024 (Annexure P-1) bearing F. 5(531)2023/Co/PF-1/601 28 issued by Respondent no. 2 to the petitioners as a counterblast to their representation dated 05.06.2024 (Annexure P-12); and B. To call for records from the respondents including the enquiry committee report dated 31.10.2023 which was prepared against the petitioners in violation of the principles of natural justice; and C. Respondents to place on record any documents providing the status of action taken by the respondents against Dr. Aysha Raza on the basis of multiple complaints of the Petitioners; and D. Issue a writ(s), order(s) or direction(s) in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ directing the respondents to implement/execute the office memorandum dated 31.10.2023 (Annexure P-7) and also to clarify on the present supervisor and internal examiner of the petitioners; and E. Cost of the petition may also be awarded in favour of the petitioners and against the respondents; and" 2.
Issue notice. Mr. Anuj Aggarwal, learned Additional Standing Counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondents no. 2 to 4. 3.
Mr. Shoaib Khan, learned counsel for the petitioners states that he has no objection, if this writ petition is treated as representation on behalf of the petitioner herein and the matter is inquired into by the respondents. 4.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that the present petition be treated as a representation on behalf of the petitioners and the same be decided within a period of two weeks from today, by the respondents, under intimation to the petitioners herein. 5.
It is clarified that the matter was not heard on merit. 6.
In view of the above, the present petition stands disposed of. 7.
