A very short point is involved herein.

The petitioner herein is Director of JD Company and when the matter was taken up by learned National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (in short "NCDRC") on 27.06.2025, learned Commission made inquiry about the proposed Schedule of payment of decretal amount to which a statement was made at the Bar that the decretal amount shall be paid within two months. 3.

However, since further query made by the learned Commission was not responded to, learned Commission declined to grant any adjournment and, simultaneously, has issued non-bailable warrants against Mr. Harpreet Singh Batra who is Director of JD Company.

Such order is under challenge.

None appears on behalf of the respondents despite advance notice. 6.

Fact, however, remains that the learned NCDRC has already fixed up the matter for 27.08.2025.

During course of arguments, learned counsel for petitioner (opposite party) submitted that even the complainant (decree holder) had no objection to such deposit and in such a situation, learned NCDRC should not have issued non-bailable warrants.

Keeping in mind the overall facts of the case and without going into deeper details, the present petition is disposed of with the direction to deposit the entire decretal amount before learned NCDRC, on or before 27.08.2025. The non-bailable warrants are recalled, subject to such deposit. The petitioner is also directed to appear before learned NCDRC on the date fixed i.e. 27.08.2025.

The appearance through video conferencing would be permissible, only where the entire decretal amount has also been deposited. 10.

Petition stands disposed of in aforesaid terms. 11.

Pending application also stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 12.
