The petitioner has filed this writ petition impugning the order dated 26th August, 2015 whereby his request for release on furlough has been declined.

Copy of the impugned order shows that his application seeking grant of furlough has been declined for his unsatisfactory conduct and the punishment awarded to him for breaking jail rules on 30.12.2009, 2402.2010, 31.03.2010, 12.08.2013 & 05.08.2015. 3.

As per clause 11.2 of Parole/Furlough Guidelines-2010, in order to be eligible for release on parole, the conduct of the convict in prison must have been uniformly good.

As per the nominal roll, the petitioner has been awarded punishment even on 05th August, 2015 and he has regularly been found guilty and punished for breaking the jail rules. The competent authority rightly declined the prayer of the petitioner.

This writ petition is, therefore, dismissed.

Petitioner be informed through the concerned Jail Superintendent about the orders passed.
