The present contempt petition has been filed alleging non-compliance of the orders dated 5th September, 2018 and 23rd October, 2018, passed by the ASCJ, North, Rohini Courts, Delhi in CS No.793-18. 2.

By the aforesaid orders, in a pending suit between the petitioner and respondent no.6 herein, the Trial Court had directed the parties to maintain status quo. However, it was clarified that status quo will not operate qua Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (hereinafter, 'DUSIB'), respondent no.1 herein.

It is an admitted position that DUSIB has issued a show cause notice dated 21st February, 2024 to the petitioner, to which the petitioner had responded vide communication dated 3rd January, 2025. 4.

As and when DUSIB passes an order in terms of the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board Act, 2010, the same would be communicated to the petitioner. The petitioner would be free to invoke his legal remedies against the said order.

In view thereof, counsel for the petitioner does not press the present contempt petition.

Accordingly, the present contempt petition along with pending applications, stands dismissed as not pressed.
