The Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 CrPC has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for quashing of FIR No. 603/2023 under Sections 12/9/55 of the Delhi Public Gambling Act, registered at Police Station Nand Nagri, on the ground that he has got CCTV footage in his defence.

Learned ASC for the State submits that the Charge-Sheet has already been already been filed and the Case is pending at the stage of framing of Charge.

Learned counsel for the petitioner in his defence states that there are eight similar FIRs against him since 2011 and he has filed similar Petitions for quashing of those FIRs.

The petitioner in his defence intends to produce the CCTV footage, which he may do so, in accordance with law during the trial. There is no ground for quashing of the aforesaid FIR.
