The present petition under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. (Section 528 of the BNSS) seeks the following prayers:
"a) Quash the FIR No. 205/2019 dated 12.9.2019 Under Section 498-A/406/34 of the IPC, P.S. Jamia Nagar, New Delhi and the proceedings emanating from the said FIR pending in the court of Ms. Archita Garg, MM, Mahila Court, South East, Saket Courts, New Delhi;
b) Pass any other or further order as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit and proper in the interest of justice."

On query made by this Court, the respondent no. 2/complainant submitted that as per oral settlement, his husband has not deposited FDR amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- in the name of minor child. settlement which has been filed before this Court for the purpose of quashing of the FIR in the instant case against the petitioners.
