The petitioner has filed a petition seeking divorce on the ground of cruelty and desertion.

The copy of the petition had also been annexed which reflects that such petition was filed on 17th March, 2023.

The petition is pending before the learned Principal Judge, Family Courts, Dwarka, South West District.

4.

The prayer in the present petition is merely to request the learned Trial Court to expedite the disposal.

As per the information made available by the Registry, there are 2094 cases pending before the said Court and the oldest case is stated to be of the year 2006.

In view of the aforesaid and also keeping in mind the fact that the petitioner has filed the petition only last year, it is not possible for this Court to make any such direction ordering the case to be disposed of in a time-bound manner. request in this regard before the learned Trial Court and it is expected that the learned Trial Court would, keeping in mind its workload, would try to expedite the hearing of the petition in question. 7.
