2. Appearing on advance notice, learned counsel for the Respondent explains that the Petitioner‟s case for compassionate appointment has been considered from 2010 onwards. However, given the merit position of the Petitioner in each of the years and given the number of vacancies available, she has not been able to be accommodated so far.

3. The Court is informed that the Petitioner‟s case will be continued to be considered for the future years, as and when the vacancies arise, subject to

her, of course, being within the zone of merit vis-a-vis vacancies available in that particular year.

4. In that view of the matter, at this stage, no further directions to the Respondents are called for.

5. The petition is disposed of.
