This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No. 51/2023 registered at PS: Cyber Police Station Outer District, Delhi, under Sections 420/120B IPC on the basis of a settlement arrived at between the parties dated 27th September 2023.

The petitioner and respondent No. 2/ complainant are present before this Court and are duly identified by the I.O. and counsel. As per the settlement, an outstanding amount of Rs. 10,000/- has been paid to the respondent No. 2 in Court today, which he duly acknowledges. Prior to this, an amount of Rs. 20,000/- had already been paid to respondent No. 2. 3.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. 4.

Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, FIR No. 51/2023 registered at PS: Cyber Police Station Outer District, Delhi, under Sections 420/120B IPC and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed qua the petitioner, considering that there is another accused in the matter who is absconding and who has not preferred the petition. 5.

Parties shall abide by the terms of the settlement. 6.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
