The present petition is filed seeking quashing of MC No. 287/2021, filed by the respondent under the provisions of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. 4.

The petitioner appears in person through video conferencing and states that the evidence that has been filed by the respondent shows that no domestic violence has taken place. 5.

He submits that the petitioner, even as per the evidence filed by the respondent, has been paying the maintenance and has also been paying the other amounts in accordance with law. 6.

The complaint was filed by the respondent in the year 2021 and the evidence has already been filed. 8.

This Court, while exercising powers under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, does not deem it appropriate to interfere with the Board of the learned Trial Court and to fix a time frame for the learned Trial court to decide the case. It is common knowledge that the Trial Courts are also burdened with a huge pendency of cases and only a request can be made to the learned Trial Court to expedite the proceedings. 9.

In view of the above, this Court does not consider it apposite to pass any order in the present matter. 10.

The learned Trial Court is requested to expedite the examination of the parties and pass a final order in the case. 11.
