The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to take action in accordance with law with respect to unauthorised construction on property bearing Khasra No.8/7(4-16) & 9/2(2-3) Village Sannoth, Delhi (hereinafter 'subject land'). 2.

As per the status report filed on behalf of the respondent no.3/ DDA, the subject land falls under the 'Green Belt' category as per the 'Master Plan for Delhi-2021'. It is stated therein that any action concerning unauthorised construction on the land falling within 'Green Belt' category is to be carried out by the respondent no.5/ MCD in terms of the Standard Operating W.P.(C) 10715/2024 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. None appears on behalf of the respondent no.5/ MCD. Hence, Ms. Mansi Gupta, Panel Counsel, MCD, who is present in Court, has been asked to appear in the present matter.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the respondent no.5/ MCD to take appropriate action in accordance with law in respect of the alleged unauthorised construction at the subject land, in an expeditious manner.

In the event, the petitioner has any further grievance with regard to unauthorised construction, he is at liberty to take appropriate remedies in accordance with law.

All rights, contentions and legal remedies of the private respondents no.6 and 7 are kept open.
