Present

application has been filed by the applicant seeking modification/clarification of Paragraph 35(11.17)(iv) of the judgment dated 19th March, 2024 passed by this Court to the extent that law researchers who are engaged with this Court shall be considered as bona fide advocates and consequently be allowed to cast their vote in the elections of the Bar Associations, of which they are members of.

Learned counsel for the non-applicants have no objection to the present application being allowed.

This Court also finds merit in the application filed by the applicants. 6.

Keeping in view the aforesaid as well as with consent of the parties the prayer sought in the present application is allowed. CM APPL. 31340/2024 in W.P.(C) 10363/2021 7.

Learned counsel for the non-applicants have no objection to the present application being taken up for hearing. 8.

After some hearing, it transpires that there are more than 1.25 to 1.5 Lakh advocates registered with various Bar Associations of Delhi and capturing of biometric of these advocates would require considerable time and the process may not be completed within the timeline fixed by this Court in accordance with the Judgment dated 19th March, 2024. 9.
