This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator for a period of six months from 17.07.2025.

Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to Agreement dated 11.04.2014, Petitioner filed a petition under Section 11(6) of 1996 Act in this Court being ARB.P.237/2021 seeking appointment of a Sole Arbitrator, which was allowed on 15.03.2021 appointing the Sole Arbitrator. From time to time, mandate of the Arbitrator was successively extended by this Court and lastly vide order dated 13.02.2025 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 54/2025 for a period of six months. Mandate of the Arbitrator has expired on 17.07.2025. arbitral proceedings are at the stage of cross-examination of Respondents/non-claimants' witnesses.

Mr. Sidharth Joshi, learned counsel enters appearance on behalf of the Respondents and on instructions, submits that Respondents have no objection to the extension of mandate of the Arbitrator. 4.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the Arbitrator is extended by a period of 06 months from 18.07.2025. 5.

Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
