Learned counsel for the parties and the appellant are physically present in Court, while the respondent is present on video conference. 2.
In the course of hearing, it was agreed by the parties that the disputes between them would stand fully and finally settled upon payment of the sum of Rs. 20,00,000/- by the respondent to the appellant. The aforesaid sum will be paid in two instalments of Rs. 10,00,000/- each. The first instalment will be paid by 15.10.2024, and the second instalment will be paid by 15.01.2025. In the event of default, the aforesaid sum will carry interest at 9% per annum. 3.
The statements of both parties have been recorded on oath. The statement of the respondent has been recorded by video conference. Anju Lal, has identified the respondent. A copy of the respondent's statement has been sent to him for his signature, and the signed statement is to be sent back electronically, and kept on record. 4.
The payments will be made by RTGS on the specified due dates. The payment will be made to the appellant on the account details given below:

On the basis of the above statement of the parties, the appeal is disposed of, by modifying the decree in terms of the aforesaid settlement. 6.
The Trial Court will prepare the decree sheet in these terms. As the matter has been settled between the parties, the court fees paid on this appeal may be refunded to the appellant.

The interim orders passed by the Court will stand vacated upon payment of the two instalments as mentioned above. 8.
The appeal, alongwith pending applications, is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
