The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayers: " (a) Directing the Respondents to disclose the reasons for non issuance of the security clearance to the Petitioners, including any report of the Central Security Agency;

(b) Quashing the order dated 04.05.2022 issued by Respondent No. 1 dismissing the appeal filed by the Petitioners [Annexure P-1];

(c) Quashing the letters dated 10.12.2019 issued by Respondent No. 2 regretting the security clearance of Petitioner Nos. 1 and 2 [Annexure P-2 (Colly)]; (d) Directing the Respondents to reconsider the applications dated 01.04.2019 filed by Petitioner Nos. 1 and 2 and to grant security clearance to Petitioner Nos. 1 and 2 after granting them an opportunity of hearing; and (e) pass such further or other order (s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts of the present case. "

It is stated by Mr. Anurag Ahluwalia, learned CGSC, that security clearance for grant of handling services will not be denied to the Petitioners herein on previous background checks.

In view of the statement made by the learned CGSC, the grievances of the Petitioner no longer survives.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of along with the pending applications, if any.
