The present petition has been filed seeking following relief: a. Issue A Writ Petition Under Article 226 Of The Constitution of India Seeking The Issuance Of A Writ Of Mandamus And Restraining The Respondent No.1 (DDA) From Unlawfully Demolishing Or Taking Any Coercive Steps To Demolish The Property bearing NO. 20-C, 20-D, 20-F, C-20/1 Khasra No. 48/7 situated in village Humayunpur, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi.

b. Direct the respondents to Maintain status quo in the Property Bearing Khasra Number 48/7 situated in village Humayunpur, Sajdarjung Enclave, New Delhi.

controversy in the present petition is that whether the properties of the petitioners falls under Khasra No. 48/7, which is private land or they are comprised in Khasra No. 48/5, which the DDA claims to be the acquired land.

He submits that the petitioners shall not press their petition any further in case the present petition is treated as representation by the DDA and is disposed of, by a speaking order and no coercive measures are taken against the petitioners till the expiry of two weeks from the date of speaking order.

Having regard to the limited prayer sought in the petition, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent/DDA to treat the present writ petition as representation and dispose of the same by a speaking order within a period of three weeks from today. A copy of speaking order be furnished to the petitioners' counsel within a period of one week thereafter.

It is further directed that no action be taken against the petitioners till the expiry of two weeks from the date of speaking order.
