The learned counsel for the applicant submits that out of seventy-one witnesses cited by the prosecution, only two witnesses are independent, that is, the complainant herself and one Imran Uddin Siddiqui.

He seeks liberty to withdraw the present application and file afresh after the independent witnesses are examined. 3.

He requests that the learned Trial Court be directed to expedite the examination of independent witnesses. 4.

Considering the above, the application is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file afresh if the independent witnesses are not examined in the next six months.
