% 22.01.2020 The petitioner is seeking appointment of an arbitrator under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent has appointed an arbitrator with the consent of the petitioner on 8th January, 2020.
Copy of the consent letter dated 8th January, 2020 is handed over and taken on record.
In view of the appointment of the arbitrator by the respondent, this petition is disposed of.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the arbitration proceedings be completed within the stipulated timeframe. It is clarified that the time period for conclusion of the arbitration is provided under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act and the arbitrator is required to follow the same.
Copy of this order be given dasti to counsel for the parties under signatures of the Court Master.
