The Petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the Ld. Trial Court to complete the evidence of public witnesses within a period of 6 months in FIR No.906/2021, registered at Police Station Bindapur for offences punishable under Sections 302/34/120B IPC. 2.

Material on record indicates that an application under Section 311 Cr.P.C has been filed for recalling of witnesses on behalf of the accused. The Petitioner has been in custody since 2021 and three years have passed. A perusal of the Order Sheets disclose that adjournments have been sought either at the end of the accused or by the prosecution. In view of the fact that speedy trial is enshrined in Article 21 of the Constitution of India, the Trial Court is requested to examine the public witnesses and conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible and endeavour be made to ensure that unnecessary adjournments are not granted. 4.
