The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950 read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeks the following reliefs:
"i.
Pass a writ/order/direction in the nature of mandamus in favour of the petitioners and against the respondent hereby directing the respondent to grant the protection to the precious life of the petitioners. ii.
Pass a writ/order/direction in the nature of mandamus in favour of the petitioners and against the respondent thereby directing the respondent to make ensure that the parents and relatives of the petitioner No.2 should not assault upon the petitioners in any manner whatsoever. iii.
Pass a writ/order/direction in the nature of mandamus in favour of the petitioners and against the respondent thereby directing the respondent to make ensure that the parents and relatives of the petitioner No.2 should not caused any kind of hindrance, obstruction, interference in the personal life, liberty and privacy of the petitioners. iv.

not visit at the property bearing No.248, Balmiki Mohalla, Sunder Nagari, Delhi."

On 21st July, 2025, this Court directed that the parents of the Petitioners be informed about the listing of the present matter. Accordingly, Mr. Vikrant Bhardwaj, counsel appearing for the father of Petitioner No. 2, states that the father is no longer in contact with his daughter and has made a statement to that effect before the Circle Officer, Baghpat. 3.
Further, Mr. Anand V. Khatri, ASC for the State, submits that both Petitioners are no longer residing at the disclosed address. 4.
In light of the foregoing, the present petition is disposed of with a direction that, should the Petitioners receive any threat, they shall be at liberty to approach the concerned SHO with their grievance. The SHO shall examine the matter, and if a genuine threat perception is found to exist, appropriate steps shall be taken, in accordance with law, to ensure the safety and security of the Petitioners.
