The applications stand disposed of.

LPA No.106/2017 & CM No.5277/2017 (directions) The petitioner in W.P.(C) No.3231/2016 is the appellant before us. Admittedly, the said writ petition is pending. By the order under appeal dated 31.01.2017, the learned Single Judge dismissed C.M. No.3700/2017 in which the petitioner/appellant herein sought a direction to the respondent No.2 to process its application for D.El.Ed. Course for the Academic Session 2017-18 observing that such a relief if granted would amount to allowing the writ petition.

Having heard the learned counsel for both the parties, we do not find any justifiable reason to interfere with the said order. However, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the appellant that since the cut-off date of 03.03.2017 prescribed by the NCTE for grant of recognition for the Session 2017-18 is fast approaching, the writ petition would be rendered infructuous unless it is decided at an early date. It is not disputed before us that the pleadings in the writ petition are complete.

We, therefore, direct the writ petition to be listed before the learned Single Judge on 16.02.2017, for directions. We request the learned Single Judge to advance the date of hearing and dispose of the same in accordance with law expeditiously. Appeal is accordingly disposed of.
