The respondent appears in-person. This appeal has been filed by the State assailing the order on sentence dated 26th June, 2018 where the convict/respondent was sentenced for a period of simple imprisonment of six months and a fine of Rs.1,000/- for offence punishable under Section 326 IPC and in default of payment of fine simple imprisonment for seven days.

The appeal was partly allowed and the Additional Sessions Judge noted that the fine stood paid and he had been in custody for one month during the trial; considering that he had faced trial for 14 years, a lenient view was taken and though the impugned order conviction was upheld and maintained. The order of sentence was modified and the appellant was released and period already undergone.

Considering these facts and circumstances and after a perusal of the sentencing order passed by the MM as well as by the ASJ, this Court finds The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. no reason to modify the same.

Mr. Mahender is appearing in-person. On a query, he says that he is working in a factory. Further, it has been noted by the Trial Court that there is no previous involvement of the convict and he has two children of 11 and 6 years of age.

Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed.
