% 16.01.2020 This petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for appointment of an Arbitrator. No reply to the petition has been filed. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent left it to the court to pass appropriate orders. Accordingly, this court appoints Justice J.P.Singh, a retired Judge of this court as a Sole Arbitrator who shall adjudicate the disputes and differences between the parties. The appointment of Justice J.P. Singh shall be regulated by the Rules of Delhi International Arbitration Centre. In view of the fact that this court had appointed an Arbitrator, learned counsel appearing for the respondent states, a Section 9 petition filed by the respondent shall be withdrawn, if this court grants liberty to the respondent to file appropriate application before the learned Arbitrator under Section 17 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act. It is ordered accordingly. It is made clear that the interim order passed in the petition under

Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act shall continue till the application is filed by the respondent before the learned Arbitrator, which I am told shall be filed within three weeks.

Parties to appear before the learned Arbitrator for a preliminary hearing by taking prior appointment on his mobile number being 9810053190.

The petition stands disposed of.
