The present petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of the mandate of a learned sole Arbitrator, who is in seisin of disputes between the parties under an agreement bearing No. 38/EE/BPD B231(N)/A 2312/dg.14-15. 2.

The learned Arbitrator was appointed by an order of this Court dated 11.12.2019 in OMP(T)(COMM) 105/2019.

The arbitration proceedings are at the stage of arguments.

Ms. Lipika Sharma, learned counsel for the respondent, submits upon instructions that the respondent has no objection to the relief sought. 4.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended by a period of six months from today. 5.

The petition stands disposed of.
