The present application has been filed by applicant/petitioner seeking following relief:

"a) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or Order/direction in the nature of mandamus, thereby directing the respondents to either reopen the registration portal for 5% CW quota candidates (Children / widows of personnel of Armed Forces) falling under Priority quota, for submission of documents for The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

entitlement/concession for seeking admission under CW category for MBBS Undergraduate program under Delhi University and/or b) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing Respondents No. 1, 2 and 3 to consider the Petitioner's manual application under CW quota for counselling"

Mr. M.C. Dhingra, learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner invites attention of the Court to the notice dated 30.07.2025 to contend that contrary to the directions given by this Court, a notice has been issued permitting only those candidates, who missed the deadline of 11.07.2025, but had already obtained Education Concessional Certificate (ECC). He submits that the intent of the order dated 29.07.2025 passed by this Court was that candidates who could not obtain their certificates by 11.07.2025 should be extended the benefit.

Mr. Mohinder J.S. Rupal, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent/university submits that a corrigendum notice dated 01.08.2025 has been issued today itself clarifying that all those candidates who had already applied for priority certificate prior to the opening of window from 05.07.2025 to 11.07.2025 but were issued such certificate only after the said date are eligible to register on the CW portal till 05.00 pm today i.e. 01.08.2025.

The corrigendum notice has been handed over across the Bar, and the same is taken on record.

Mr. Dhingra further urges that if the process of verification etc. after uploading of certificate on the CW portal is not expedited, petitioner will not be considered in the first-round of counselling, and she may not get benefit The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

The Court has put to Mr. Amit Tiwari, learned CGSC appearing on behalf of MCC as to whether the MCC can accommodate candidates belonging to the CW category by further extending the date of counselling, as has been done to accommodate PwD category candidates, he prays for time to seek instructions.

Let needful be done before the next date of hearing. 10.
