This petition has been file for anticipatory bail in FIR no. 290/2024 registered at PS. New Ashok Nagar under Section 308/34 IPC. 2.

The FIR was registered on the basis that the complainant was assaulted by the accused in New Ashok Nagar, apparently because he was not returning the money which had been given to him.

There were four accused in the FIR. It is informed by APP, on instructions of the IO, that Vikesh Singh and Dev Singh has since been granted regular bail, whereas petitioner and co-accused Vicky Goswami had already joined the investigation and are cooperating in the investigation. Accordingly, there is no purpose keeping this petition on board. 5.

In light of the above, the Court is of the considered opinion that the petitioner is entitled to anticipatory bail. Consequently, in the event of arrest the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 25, 000/- with one surety of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the arresting officer/IO/SHO concerned, further subject to the condition that the petitioner will join investigation as and when directed and not influence any witness/complainant/victim or tamper with evidence of the case. 6.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
