This petition has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of a learned sole arbitrator, who is in seisin of disputes between the parties under a contract dated 10.09.2015.

The mandate of the learned arbitrator was extended, with the consent of parties, for a period of six months, till 04.08.2024. 3.

I am informed that the matter is at the stage of final arguments. 4.

Ms. Arti Bansal, learned counsel for the respondent, appears on advance notice and states that the respondent has no objection to the relief sought.

With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the learned arbitrator is extended for a period of one year, with effect from 05.08.2024.
