Petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 03/2022 of PS Janakpuri Metro for offence under Section 25/54/59 Arms Act. The allegation against the petitioner is the recovery of one live cartridge from his bag at the metro station. The quashing of the FIR is sought, not by explaining the recovery of that cartridge but by completely denying any recovery, which would be a matter of trial.

After addressing partly, learned counsel for petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition with liberty to raise the same grounds as are raised in the present petition during trial. The present petition and pending applications are dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as sought.
