After some hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to withdraw this writ petition, without prejudice to the defences available to the petitioner in the proceedings instituted by the New Delhi Municipal Council before the Estate Officer under the Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1971.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty granted as aforesaid.
